The Amazing Race

Hi! I just wanted to share with you all one of my favorite shows on television right now. I usually don't like "reality TV" shows, but this one is an exception. It's not your typical reality TV show in which people plots evil schemes to vote people out. This show is as real as it gets. The show I'm talking about is The Amazing Race. This is a reality show in which teams of two race around the world in competition with other teams for a total grand prize of 1 million dollars.

The race resembles a treasure hunt of some sort and uses a progressive elimination where the last team to arrive at a designated checkpoint is eliminated. What makes this show really interesting for me is teams must follow clues and instructions and make their way to checkpoints in places around the world. They usually must do activities which are out of their elements. It's very interesting to see how the teams interact with different cultures.

To learn more about this show, go to the official site or go to wikipedia

Hola seniors and senoritas!

I'm back yet again and it's about time I posted an update on this lonely blog! I had an awesome time in Puerto Vallarta. It was trip of a lifetime! I had so much fun...and you know what they say...what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico! :)

The weather was fabulous, the food was delightful and the people were amazing! I already miss it. It was my first experience of my life in actually taking a plane and going somewhere for vacation. I traveled over there all alone, which was the hardest part of the trip but once I got there and joined my cousins, everything was chill!

I was pretty dead tired when I got back to nice, snowy and freezing Montreal. My cousins were leaving on a Friday morning around 8h30 am. My flight was only scheduled to leave the next morning at 2:30 am. So I had all the day to myself. I was up all day on Friday and I thought I would be able to sleep on the way back...but nah nah! I can't sleep in planes because the seat in front of me is always applying too much pressure on my knees because I have long legs! Arghhhh! I can't sleep! I need the exit row seats next time! I ended up sleeping late on that Saturday at around 23h30!

As soon I got back...I've fallen ill, same thing for my cousins and their friends. We got too used to the hot weather I guess! :) I had a cold for almost 2 weeks, but now it's all gone and I'm feeling well.

For those who know me personally, contact me and I'll send you some links to my photo album from Mexico. As of today, I have well over 700 pictures!

Also, swing by to my photoblog, I updated the design and I will be posting each day or two my favorite shots from Mexico. I promise!!! ;)
