Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno
After a wonderful day and a nice experience yesterday, I decided to go to another park today and enjoy the great autumn scenery before we are hit with 6 month of winter! We are having such nice weather this weekend...this was a absolutely great day to take pictures!I decided to visit the national park of Mount Saint-Bruno. I haven't went there for ages. I drove down to Mount St-Bruno by car, which is just about 20-25 minutes from my house. I went, yet again, alone on this trip :(
There's many activities you can do over at the park like hiking, biking or even apple picking!
Here's a few snapshots i've taken today:

More info about Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno
A representative element of the Monteregian hills natural region, Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno has five lakes, an apple orchard with 850 trees, a historic mill, and dozens of kilometres of woodland trails. Some 200 species of birds and some forty species of mammals share this little corner of paradise. Indeed, like other Monteregian hills, Mont Saint-Bruno constitutes an important woodland habitat in the Greater Montreal urban environment. In winter or summer, take advantage of the pure and healthy air of this oasis of peace a few kilometres from the metropolitan area.

Parc regional de Longueuil
Ahhhhh! Autumn is most definitely in the air! I love this time of the year! The leaves are showing their true colors, the air is crisp, what better way to enjoy all of that than to take a stroll to the Parc regional de Longueuil. I spent my Saturday afternoon, alone, by visiting this nice parc just around the corner of my house. This is one of the best times to visit this park. Too bad i couldn't get anyone to go with me...oh well, I'm not going to spoil my fun! Here's some pictures i've taken at the park.

More info about the regional park:
The Parc regional de Longueuil covers an area of 1,850,000 square metres. This nature-conservation and open air activity area caters to cycling and walking in summer and cross-country skiing in winter. There is also a skating rink and a toboggan hill in winter. An area of marshland caters to bird-watchers.
The borough of Brossard abounds in great facilities for recreation, sports, and open-air relaxation. From the borough limit with Saint-Lambert - Le Moyne, the multipurpose path that follows the St. Lawrence River opens four exceptional windows on the river: the cycle park, extended to almost 80,000 square feet, the Champlain Bridge Park, Park Leon-Gravel, and the new Saint-Laurent Park.
The Saint-Jacques River is to be found a little to the south of Leon-Gravel Park, a haven of peace just waiting to be discovered. Narrow and winding, it marks the boundary between the borough of Brossard and the Ville de Laprairie; a stretch of water inviting you to discover nature in the heart of town, easily accessible via Radisson Park.
